KEEPING YOUR MIND SOUND...BATTLING THE WICKED THOUGHTS
Eph 6:10 . Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].
Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
GEN 15:5-6 JAMES 2:23 ROM 3:3 JOHN 4:22-24
Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
AV Hb 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
PRAY W/O CEASING REBUKING THE END
Eph 6:19 . And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
Ro 7:12 Wherefore the law [is] holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Ro 7:13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
Ro 7:14 . For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Ro 7:15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
Ro 7:16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that [it is] good.
Ro 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Ja 1:8 A double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways.
Ja 1:12 Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Ja 1:13 . Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
Ja 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Ja 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Ja 1:16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
Ja 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Ja 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
Ja 1:19 . Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
Ja 1:20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
Ja 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
Ja 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Ro 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but [how] to perform that which is good I find not.
Ro 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
Ro 7:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Ro 7:21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
Ro 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Ro 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Ja 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth [it] not, to him it is sin.
Ro 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
Ro 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Hb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
AV Ro 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
AV Ro 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
AV Ro 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law [are] just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
AV Ro 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
AV Ro 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and [their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
WIS 9: For what man is he that can know the counsel of God? or who can think what the will of the Lord is?
 For the thoughts of mortal men are miserable, and our devices are but uncertain.
 For the corruptible body presseth down the soul, and the earthy tabernacle weigheth down the mind that museth upon many things.
 And hardly do we guess aright at things that are upon earth, and with labour do we find the things that are before us: but the things that are in heaven who hath searched out?
 And thy counsel who hath known, except thou give wisdom, and send thy Holy Spirit from above?
 For so the ways of them which lived on the earth were reformed, and men were taught the things that are pleasing unto thee, and were saved through wisdom.
AV Mt 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed [is] willing, but the flesh [is] weak.
WIS 4: For the bewitching of naughtiness doth obscure things that are honest; and the wandering of concupiscence doth undermine the simple mind.
 [Give me] any plague, but the plague of the heart: and any wickedness, but the wickedness of a woman:
AV Ti 1:5 . For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
AV Ti 1:6 . If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
AV Ti 1:7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
AV Ti 1:8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
AV Ti 1:9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
AV Ti 1:10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
AV Ti 1:11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
AV Ti 1:12 One of themselves, [even] a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians [are] alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
AV Ti 1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
AV Ti 1:14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
AV Ti 1:15 Unto the pure all things [are] pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving [is] nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
AV Ti 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny [him], being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
AV 2Ti 1:6 . Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
AV 2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
AV 2Ti 1:8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
AV 2Ti 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
AV 2Th 2:1 . Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and [by] our gathering together unto him,
AV 2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
AV 2Th 2:3 . Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
AV 2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
AV 2Th 2:5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
AV 2Th 2:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
AV 2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way.
AV Col 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
AV Col 1:9 . For this cause we also, since the day we heard [it], do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
AV Col 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
AV Col 1:11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
AV Col 1:12 . Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
AV Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son:
AV Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins:
AV Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
AV Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
AV Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
AV Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have the preeminence.
AV Col 1:19 For it pleased [the Father] that in him should all fulness dwell;
AV Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, [I say], whether [they be] things in earth, or things in heaven.
AV Col 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in [your] mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
AV Col 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
AV Col 1:23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and [be] not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, [and] which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
AV Eph 4:17 . This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
AV Eph 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
AV Eph 4:19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
AV Eph 4:20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
AV Eph 4:21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
AV Eph 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
AV Eph 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
AV Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
AV Eph 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
AV Eph 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
AV Eph 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.
AV Eph 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with [his] hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
AV Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
AV Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
AV Eph 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
AV Eph 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
AV Eph 2:1 . And you [hath he quickened], who were dead in trespasses and sins;
AV Eph 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
AV Eph 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
AV Eph 2:4 . But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
AV Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
AV Eph 2:6 And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus:
AV 2C 10:1 . Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence [am] base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:
AV 2C 10:2 But I beseech [you], that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
AV 2C 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
AV 2C 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
AV 2C 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
AV 2C 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
AV Ro 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day [alike]. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
AV Ro 14:6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth [it] unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard [it]. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
AV Ro 14:7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
AV Ro 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
AV Ro 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
AV Ro 12:1 . I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.
AV Ro 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
AV Ro 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
AV Ro 8:6 For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace.
AV Ro 8:7 Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
AV Ro 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
AV Ro 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
AV Ro 8:10 . And if Christ [be] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness.
AV Ja 4:1 . From whence [come] wars and fightings among you? [come they] not hence, [even] of your lusts that war in your members?
AV Ja 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
AV Ja 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume [it] upon your lusts.
AV Ja 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
AV Ja 4:5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
AV Ja 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
AV Ja 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
AV Ja 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse [your] hands, [ye] sinners; and purify [your] hearts, [ye] double minded.
AV Ja 4:9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and [your] joy to heaviness.
AV Ja 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
AV Mk 5:2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
AV Mk 5:3 Who had [his] dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
AV Mk 5:4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any [man] tame him.
AV Mk 5:5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.
AV Mk 5:6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
AV Mk 5:7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, [thou] Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
AV Mk 5:8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, [thou] unclean spirit.
AV Mk 5:9 And he asked him, What [is] thy name? And he answered, saying, My name [is] Legion: for we are many.
AV Mk 5:10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.
AV Mk 5:11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
AV Mk 5:12 And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
AV Mk 5:13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
AV Mk 5:14 And they that fed the swine fled, and told [it] in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.
AV Mk 5:15 And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
AV Mk 5:16 And they that saw [it] told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and [also] concerning the swine.
AV Mk 5:17 And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.
AV Mk 5:18 And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.
AV Mk 5:19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.
AV Mk 5:20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all [men] did marvel.
AV Jb 4:12 . Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little thereof.
AV Jb 4:13 In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men,
AV Jb 4:14 Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake.
AV Jb 4:15 Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up:
AV Jb 4:16 It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image [was] before mine eyes, [there was] silence, and I heard a voice, [saying],
AV Jb 4:17 Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?
AV Ps 56:1 . <<To the chief Musician upon Jonathelemrechokim, Michtam of David, when the Philistines took him in Gath.>> Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.
AV Ps 56:2 Mine enemies would daily swallow [me] up: for [they be] many that fight against me, O thou most High.
AV Ps 56:3 What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
AV Ps 56:4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
AV Ps 56:5 Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts [are] against me for evil.
AV Ps 56:6 They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.
AV Ps 56:7 Shall they escape by iniquity? in [thine] anger cast down the people, O God.
AV Ps 56:8 . Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: [are they] not in thy book?
AV Ps 56:9 When I cry [unto thee], then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God [is] for me.
AV Ps 56:10 In God will I praise [his] word: in the LORD will I praise [his] word.
AV Ps 56:11 In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
AV Ps 56:12 Thy vows [are] upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.
AV Ps 56:13 For thou hast delivered my soul from death: [wilt] not [thou deliver] my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?
AV Pr 16:3 . Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
AV Pr 21:5 . The thoughts of the diligent [tend] only to plenteousness; but of every one [that is] hasty only to want.
AV Jer 4:14 O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?
EPH 5:26, PS 119:9, JOHN 15:3
AV 1C 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring [it] into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
